Barilla America, Inc. Broadens Relationship with CHEP

 

Pasta and sauce maker renews agreement for pallet services

Barilla America, Inc., one of the country’s leading pasta and sauce manufacturers, today announced it has signed a multi-year contract extension to ship on pallets from CHEP, the world’s leading pallet and container pooling company. Barilla will continue to use CHEP pallets to transport its Barilla-branded pastas and sauces from a network of third-party logistics facilities to supermarkets, distributors and wholesale clubs across the USA and Canada.

Barilla America Director of Logistics & Customer Service, Craig Gillis, said: “We are pleased to extend our relationship with CHEP. Improvements in procurement costs, along with standardization within our operations, have led to improved efficiencies.”
